How does it work?

We focus on the installation of 4 types of solar energy systems. The first being the Direct Injection (“Grid Tied” or “Grid Interactive), the second being the Hybrid (Hybrid – Grid Zero), the third being the Outside Network (Off-Grid) and the fourth for use with its investors Emergency using traditional solar chargers (Solar Chargers). There are more mechanisms advantage of solar energy but these four are the most popular and modern at this time. If you want more information on these systems or any other technology not listed please email us at info@solarworks.com.do.

1) Definition Solar System Direct injection type (Grid Tied):

The energy produced by the direct injection system is single phase 120/240, 208/480 three phase. This system uses solar energy from its PV array of the most direct and efficient way possible to directly convert the energy of the panels VDC VAC. This will be supplied directly to the main entrance of the electrical panel, there being distributed to all its electrical network. This energy being distributed throughout your home / business / industry will greatly reduce the demand for energy from your accountant and likewise of EDE’s. Thus the EDE’s only supply the power needed to complete your claim.

Installed the bidirectional counter, all energy produced by your solar system you do not consume will be supplied to the grid of the EDE’s. In such moments where your home / business / industry is empty for reasons of days or non-working holiday, the system is feeding the grid retro posting a bidirectional counter credit in your favor. This credit recorded in KWh will be used by you when you continue your consumption during working hours or when energy consumption is presented again and thus creating more savings still or in the rare case of compensating for rainy days where production energy is not 100%.

It is important to note that this system is not a conventional inverter system with backup battery bank. This system produces energy directly to your network and then fed anything that is connected to it. This solar system can not supply power to the grid if the power from the CDE. That is to say, is a support system and dependent on external power, either the CDE. Therefore the system is called “Grid-Tied” or “Interactive Grid”. This system requires the use of battery banks. Also it is important to note that if you install a conventional inverter for “backup” or already installed, this does not interfere with the Grid Tied installed system.

* This system requires a Net Metering Agreement and bidirectional counter

 2) Definition (Hyrbid Solar System) Hybrid Solar System:

The energy produced by this system is 120/240 VAC single phase as mentioned above which will be supplied directly to the power grid. Hybrid investors are fully automated and intelligent investors. They use a combination of solar panels, battery banks and both the electrical input of the CDE as well as the emergency plant. He takes full control and managed in the most efficient way possible and by providing unmatched savings in addition to emergency power when you need it most for your home / business / industry.

The system always can supply all of your solar energy source, ie the PV array power still present being CDE. This energy is used to always keep the battery power to the fullest. When the batteries are already loaded, all this solar energy will be converted to 120 / 240VAC and will be supplied to the fuel injection mode. Beyond if it is generating in due course more power AC of the home / business / industry requires, for then will be fed into the grid of the CDE to be credited to your electric bill. The latter mode of operation is achieved through bidirectional counter that EDE’s would install. In other words, energy is never lost. Because when the power goes out, the system continues to operate with the solar system and its batteries. Should either night and sunlight is not present and there is no power CDE, for the same hybrid solar system started booting the plant automatically if desired. The hybrid solar system will start the plant only if you believe that the batteries have arrived at a very low level and need to reload and there is neither light nor sun CDE present. The plant will keep on until the batteries are fully charged again.

* This system requires a Net Metering Agreement and bidirectional counter.

3) Definition Outside Solar System Network (Off Grid):

The energy produced by this system is 120/240 VAC single phase which is supplied directly to the main entrance of the electrical panel, there being distributed to all its electrical network. This system consists of the solar array in conjunction with the use of a battery bank and the use of off grid inverters. These investors use solar energy to meet demand during the day and keep the battery charging during the day for night use thereof. This system is designed for use in situations where there is no available power is CDE. Such as a cottage, small factory, office projects are in some remote places where there is no power available CDE. This system requires no power to operate and CDE is fully automated. It does not require user interaction at any time.

* This system requires no Net Metering or bidirectional counter.

4) Definition (Conventional Solar Chargers) Solar System “Solar Charger”

Solar simply based solar chargers for use in a traditional set of backup inverter are the most economical and simple. These have one mode of operation and is simple. The solar charger (Solar Controller), uses the energy from your solar array to charge the batteries of their investment. The savings comes from its traditional investor you do not need to use the energy of the CDE to charge the batteries. When traditional investors use the energy of the CDE, “when the light comes” to load the already highly discharged batteries, that’s when a high consumption occurs on your electric bill. This system will keep the battery power and extend the period of use of its greatly investor in the event of a prolonged power failure.

* This system requires no Net Metering or bidirectional counter.
